Last minute Easter needs? Come see us in Simcoe or Stoney Creek!
Easter weekend is officially here and while we’ve been very busy keeping up with your orders for delicious Ontario turkey, ham, lamb and roast beef, we know there are always some last minute shoppers. (Is that you? It’s okay, we don’t judge.) Thanks as always for your support of our local, family-run business — it truly means the world to us, and we’re grateful!
VG Meats will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but we’re open Saturday, April 3rd in both Simcoe and Stoney Creek. If you need something for dinner, please visit us in store before 5:00 pm! Here’s what we’ll have ready for you.
The main event
VG Meats has an incredible selection of delicious turkeys, ham, roast beef, pork tenderloin, prime rib, steaks, cornish hens, lamb and more. We also have local condiments, Ontario cheese and more for your holiday spread. No matter what you need for Easter dinner, our in-store team can help you out! Simply visit one of our retail locations in Simcoe or Stoney Creek. We will be open until 5:00 pm in both locations.
Easy options
If you’re forgoing the usual Easter turkey or ham in favour of something more casual, that doesn’t mean you can’t have a delicious dinner. Consider picking up some of our homestyle prepared meals from the freezer in Simcoe or Stoney Creek. We’ve got dishes like beef stew, Shepherd’s pie, chili, pulled pork and more. We’ve also got ready-to-enjoy meals in the refrigerated section in Stoney Creek, including entrees, side dishes and more. You might even find some fresh buns and Ontario produce in our Stoney Creek location, if you get there in time!

When we adapted our Easter plans last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, very few of us were expecting a repeat performance in 2021. We know it’s been a long road, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and better days ahead. No matter how you celebrate Easter this year, we wish you a safe, healthy and happy holiday weekend.
