It’s time to order your Easter turkeys, hams and more
Easter is happening fairly early this year, so the big day is sneaking up on a lot of families (in case you haven’t marked your calendar yet: Easter Sunday is April 4th). Fortunately, VG Meats is here to remind you to plan your Easter dinner and order those delicious local turkeys, hams, roasts and more. Here are a few options — but remember, anything goes! Cook up whatever your family loves and enjoy a restful weekend. You deserve it!
What’s for dinner?
Many Easter traditions involve a ham or a roast turkey and honestly, you can’t go wrong with either option. Or, do both! A small turkey and half-sized ham is an excellent combination. Or cook full-sized versions and enjoy leftovers for days. Everyone loves a good turkey sandwich or a split pea soup with ham. Yum!
VG Meats is offering delicious, local turkeys that are free from added hormones and raised without the use of antibiotics. They’re moist, flavourful and available in a variety of sizes. You can order online (a $25 deposit is required) and choose from pick up in Simcoe or Stoney Creek, or get home delivery to over 60 locations across southern Ontario. An invoice with the balance owing will be sent by email prior to pick up or delivery.
We’re also offering several types of delicious hams as well as smoked pork chops. If you’re interested in something a little different, consider some tender lamb or our delectable Cornish hens.
