It’s time to order your Thanksgiving favourites!

Thanksgiving weekend is coming up fast so no matter how you’re celebrating, it’s time to get organized. Whether you’re serving turkey, ham or something less traditional, you know it’s going to be delicious when it’s from VG Meats. We’ve got a great holiday selection including prepared dishes you’ll love!

Here’s how to place an order with VG Meats for Thanksgiving, which takes place on Monday, October 11th, 2021 (sooner, if you cook dinner on Thanksgiving Sunday!). If you have any questions, please email danny@vgmeats.ca, visit us in store or give us a call. We’d be pleased to help.

Family favourites and even more selection

In addition to turkey, ham, stuffing and other VG Meats classics, we’re offering a selection of incredible local produce for your holiday feast. We’ve got fresh cranberries, sweet potatoes, organic garlic, carrots, celery and more. You can even order a cooked turkey with our delicious store-made stuffing and gravy! Just heat and serve. Orders can be picked up in store or delivered right to your door if you live within our Farm to City delivery zone. Here’s a full menu (it doubles as our order form).

Placing an order

Preferably, holiday orders will be placed online using this form. If you have any problem placing your order this way, please contact danny@vgmeats.ca for direct assistance.

Using our online ordering system, you will be able to select the date that’s best for you. All home deliveries will be made the week prior to Thanksgiving between Tuesday and Sunday. There are limited spots available for Saturday and Sunday delivery (first come, first served!) so place your orders soon. Once your pick up or delivery day is selected it cannot be changed.

Once you have submitted your order you will be emailed a $50 invoice for the deposit. Once you pay this deposit, your order will be confirmed, and no more emails will be sent. The paid deposit record is confirmation of your order. And that’s it! You’re ready to get cooking.

What else do I need to know?

Here are a few important reminders:

• All items, including turkeys, are shipped fresh (never frozen) in an airtight covering and when kept in a refrigerated environment, they will remain fresh for up to five days.
• Our delivery window is 12-7pm Tuesday through Friday and 9am-6pm on weekends.
• All communication from VG Meats will be sent through email, so please add danny@vgmeats.ca to your address book to make sure nothing ends up in your junk folder.
• No changes to your order can be made after October 5th, 2021.
• All online ordering for Thanksgiving 2021 will end October 5th. A limited number of turkeys may still be available in store after this date.

Please keep in mind that we are very busy during the holiday season and sometimes, it can take a few tries to reach us by phone. If there are changes to your order, please email danny@vgmeats.ca. Please indicate the name the order is under and we will do our best to make any requested changes happen.
