What’s new at VG Meats: next day delivery and more in store!
It’s been another beautiful week of sunshine and blue skies here in southern Ontario, and we’re soaking in every moment of summer while it’s still here. We hope you’ve been able to get outside for a hike, a swim or even a nap in your favourite hammock. We’re not going to tell you how to spend your summer, of course, but we sure do want you to enjoy it!

Introducing next day delivery
As demand for our Farm to City home delivery program continues, we’ve made improvements that allow us to offer next day delivery in most locations. That’s right - NEXT DAY DELIVERY! If you get your order in before midnight, we’ll have it delivered to your door the very next business day, if product is available. we will call you if there are any delays. (Because we don’t deliver on weekends, all orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be delivered on Tuesday.) Please check out our delivery information page to see if your area qualifies for next day delivery and remember - home delivery is FREE on all large orders! We can even add “off the menu” items to your order, from custom cuts of meat to your favourite local condiments and prepared foods.

Having your favourite VG Meats products hand delivered to your door is awesome, but some families prefer to shop in person. Our retail locations in Simcoe and Stoney Creek have been open throughout the pandemic but for those first few months, delivery was all the rage. We saw steady foot traffic in both locations but at the end of the day, a lot of people wanted to stay home and shop online. Now that Ontario is in stage three of reopening, we’re seeing more new and familiar faces shopping in store. It’s great to see people feeling more comfortable getting out and about.
Both VG Meats locations have a large deli counter with exceptional sliced meats. We’ve got family-size frozen entrees to make your busy life a little easier (and a lot more delicious). We also carry a fantastic selection of local sauces, spice rubs and condiments as well as mouth-watering Ontario cheese. Our Stoney Creek location offers fresh Ontario produce, store-made entrees and side dishes (look for them in the refrigerated case!) plus local bread and baked goods, handmade beef tallow soap, reusable beeswax wraps and more. You might even find a few local treats at the counter! Trust us, it’s worth popping into the store if you can.
