If you shop with VG Meats online, you’ve probably noticed that we like to add items to our Farm to City website as much as possible. Our online storefront is always evolving, often based on customer feedback and your requests. That’s how we ended up adding some in-store favourites like our house-made spice blends and delicious deli meats. We even added our favourite local cheese!
So, what’s new on Farm to City? Quite a lot! Some of these items have been around for a little while, but others are brand new additions to the online store. Some were recently brought back by popular demand and other products are relatively new to VG Meats. Here’s a great list to help get your shopping list started—enjoy!

Whether they’re new to our online store or simply new to your family, we know you’ll love these incredible Ontario beef, poultry, pork and lamb products.
- Ground Lamb: This ethically-raised local lamb is tender, versatile and ready to be used in your favourite dishes. A great way to change up your weekly cooking routine!
- Lamb Spiedini: Also called arrosticini or spiducci, these ready to grill skewers are made of tender Ontario lamb cut into small cubes. There's a nice ratio of fat to meat, so the spiedini stays deliciously juicy when cooked.
- Farm Fresh Eggs: Everyone loves eggs, and ours are fresh from the farm and ready to be cracked open in your kitchen! Serve them with our breakfast sausage or your favourite bacon, or go ahead and bake a cake. We offer them in packages of two dozen.
- Smoked Pork Chops: A VG Meats customer and family favourite, these amazing pork chops are smoked to perfection. Simply heat them up on the grill or in a cast iron pan for best results. Add a little homemade chutney or some sauteed apples and you’re ready to go!
- Black Forest Ham: A longtime VG Meats staple, this delicious ham is now available online. It’s so tender, juicy and flavourful, you’ll be craving this ham for Sunday dinner. So, why not make it a regular addition to your family’s menu?
