Long weekend must-haves from VG Meats
The Canada Day long weekend is finally here and the forecast is looking (mostly) beautiful. If you haven’t done your shopping yet, there’s still time—we’ll be closed on Friday, July 1st but open again on Saturday (8am-5pm in Simcoe and 9am-5pm in Stoney Creek). Ready to get grilling? Steaks and beef burgers
Last week, we blogged about getting a great deal on your favourite steaks, so be sure to check out those tips. Chicken is so delicious and so versatile, it’s ideal for any summer BBQ. Here are a few products to consider for your Canada Day weekend:

Sausages and pork chops
Our pork sausages are a summer classic that are absolutely amazing on the BBQ. We also love a good pork chop like this centre cut chop, a boneless option, a gorgeous butterfly pork chop or pork rib chop. Some slow-cooked pork ribs are always a good idea, and we love a smoked pork chop for something a little different. Don’t forget the bacon for those long weekend breakfasts (or for adding to your favourite burger).
