What is pasture-raised chicken?
Our pasture-raised chicken is a premium product with limited availability each year. This poultry is raised in spacious portable shelters using holistic management inspired by Joel Salatin. The chickens have access to fresh grasses and lush green clover throughout the week and have plenty of space to move around. They’re given clean water while out on the pasture, which they share with cattle in a carefully planned rotation.
This poultry has been a customer favourite ever since it was first introduced, and with good reason. It’s tender, moist and flavourful—perfect for grilling and your other favourite preparations. It also contributes to healthier local ecosystems, economies and communities by being a regenerative product.
