We’re feeling grateful this holiday season
While every year comes with a mix of challenges and successes, we’re ending the year feeling grateful, optimistic and enthusiastic about what’s to come in 2024. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank some important people. First, our incredible staff—we appreciate your hard work and dedication throughout the year and during this busy holiday season. You’re all fantastic and we want to recognize all of your efforts. Thank you for everything you do!
To our friends and families, thank you for being a part of the extended VG Meats team. We couldn’t do it without you and are grateful to have such wonderful people in our lives. We’re also grateful to be a part of the farming and regenerative food communities here in Ontario, and across the globe. Our commitment to holistic management and regeneration is deep and genuine, but we cannot achieve these goals alone. Thanks to everyone who contributes positively to Canada’s food systems and supports local food while helping us work towards a brighter future.
And finally, to our customers—the real MVPs! Thank you for choosing to put local food on your family’s table and for shopping from our multigenerational, family-owned and operated business. A few quick reminders

- Our holiday website will be active until Friday, December 22nd. After that, you’re welcome to shop in store. Please note that we will be operating on holiday hours between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day—details are on our Facebook and Instagram pages!
- If you have any questions about your holiday delivery or pick up, please call your local VG Meats location directly. Our social media channels will not be monitored over the weekend leading up to Christmas, but our team would be pleased to take your phone call.
- We continue to have holiday gift baskets and charcuterie boxes available for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebrations (or last minute hostess gifts). We also have gift cards—they make a great Christmas present or stocking stuffer!
