Happy Easter from VG Meats

Easter weekend is here! It’s been a very busy couple of weeks on the farm and in our retail locations as we prepare for the holiday, but no matter how busy it gets, we are feeling gratitude above all else. The Van Groningen family and the entire VG Meats team would like to thank you for choosing to buy local, regenerative products this Easter and throughout the year. Your choices support healthier, stronger local ecosystems, economies and communities, and contribute to a better future for generations to come. We may be business owners but we’re also parents, community members, farmers and stewards of this land, and we’re dedicated to making a positive impact. Thanks for helping us achieve these goals!

We’re going to see a lot of fresh turkeys, smoked ham and delicious Ontario beef and pork roasts go out the door this weekend, and we hope you enjoy every bite of these incredible local products. No matter what your family’s Easter traditions look like, we’re glad to be a part of them. Last minute reminders

Holiday weekends are busy, and you may find yourself running around at the last minute. If you have questions about your delivery, pick up or in-store shopping options, consider this a cheat sheet from your friendly local VG Meats team! If you have any questions, please reach out to your local VG Meats retail location.

• While we are no longer accepting online orders of Easter products like whole fresh local turkeys and smoked Ontario hams, you can still shop for these products in store. A limited quantity of Easter products will be available while supplies last.
• VG Meats will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We will be open for regular hours on Saturday. We will also be open on Monday.
• If you have a question about an order you placed for pick up or delivery, please call your local VG Meats retail location. Our social media inboxes will not be monitored over the holiday weekend, so phone is the best way to reach us.
• Did you buy chocolate and/or other treats from the Easter bunny? This part has nothing to do with us but as a family with a lot of kids/grandkids, we know that it’s key!
