Farm to City home delivery: subscribe for the summer!

Father and soon cooking

The Victoria Day weekend is here and we’ll be honest...the weather isn’t awesome right now. Who ordered this grey, damp long weekend?! (It wasn’t us.) Sure, it’s not ideal but summer will be here soon and when that sunshine hits Southern Ontario, we’ll be ready to enjoy it!

It’s a great time of year to remind customers about our Farm to City home delivery program. You can place a one-time order whenever you feel like it, but you can also set up a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly subscription to your favourite VG Meats products. It’s a custom program that allows you to get exactly what you want (and nothing you don’t love) as often as you want it. Here’s how it works, and why you might want to subscribe for the summer!

Create a custom subscription

Start by choosing your favourite VG Meats products from our online store. After filling your cart, select “subscribe” instead of “one time purchase.” The drop down menu will let you choose how often you want your subscription to come: every week, every two weeks, every month, and so on. You can pay online (the same credit card will be charged each time a subscription order is processed), and then you’re set. It’s that easy!

Once we have your order in our system, our team will bring your Farm to City subscription right to your door as scheduled. If you’d prefer to pick up your order at a VG Meats retail location, that’s no problem - just indicate “store pick up” in Simcoe or Stoney Creek when setting up your subscription.

Be the king (or queen) of summer!

A Farm to City subscription means you’ll always have your favourite foods on hand. This is especially awesome in the summer, when you want to be outdoors instead of constantly going to the grocery store. Feel like throwing some burgers, hot dogs, chicken breasts or pork ribs on the BBQ? Just go to your well-stocked fridge and freezer and you’re ready to go! We love this program year round but if you’re new to Farm to City, summer is the perfect time to try it out. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do.

Sunny days (and many BBQs) ahead

It may be grey outside today but as we mentioned, there are many sunny days ahead. Subscribe now and be ready to hit the backyard with your favourite summer meal as soon as that warm weather returns. Thanks for reading, and please let us know if you have any questions - we’d be happy to help you out. Happy Victoria Day!
