Thanksgiving weekend is almost here—it’s so close, we can practically taste the turkey! With beautiful fall weather in the forecast (knock wood) and plenty of food and family on the horizon, we’re looking forward to a wonderful holiday. We hope all of our customers can enjoy the same!

Sharing our gratitude

VG Meats is a family business with multiple generations working together every single day. It’s not just the four brothers who are involved…it’s Mom and Dad VG, our spouses and even our kids. We understand how fortunate we are, both as a family and as business owners who have been embraced by the Simcoe and Stoney Creek communities.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible, from our amazing customers and incredible staff to the local food producers we work with. Not only are you supporting our family-owned, independent business, you’re supporting regenerative outcomes in your community. We are genuinely thankful and know that we couldn’t do this without you!

It’s time for dinner

Now, on to some business. Our holiday website has been active for several weeks, but we’ll be turning it off at 4pm today (Thursday, October 10th) to focus on order fulfilment. You can read this post for more details about online orders and delivery, or call your local VG Meats retail location to inquire about what’s available in store. While we strongly encourage pre-ordering your holiday favourites to avoid disappointment, a limited quantity of turkeys, hams and roasts will be available while supplies last. Don’t hesitate to call or drop by—our team would be glad to help you find everything you need to make a delicious holiday meal!

If you have any questions about a delivery or pick up order, please contact us. We will be open for regular business hours on Friday and until 5pm on Saturday. Both locations will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
